• Notes

  Ellogene was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, helping her husband with the farm work and raising a big garden. She enjoyed cooking and baking and hosting family gatherings. Ellogene wrote the McCreary's Ridge News for the Vevay Reveille Newspaper from 1960 to 1970.
