  Blinn died in an auto accident. He had been in Elgin visiting his nephew, Orville Bryan and was returning home when the accident occurred. He was alone in his car southbound on Illinois 47. Police said he stopped for a stop sign at U.S. 20, then proceeded into the path of a semi-trailer driven by Kenneth L. King, 36, Indianapolis, Ind., westbound on U.S. 20.
