In 1870 census they are listed in Summit, Harmonsburg post office with another child, Clara. At thistime his occupation is listed as sawyer mill. In 1860 he gives his age as 22. In 1870 his age is 41. In 1872, recorded in 1874, Ira and Louisa sell about one acre of land near Mary Dewey to Sarah M. Fisher for $300. At that time they are residents of Hayfield, county of Crawford, Pennsylvania. Ira and Louisa left Pennsylvania and died in Guthrie, Logan county, Oklahoma, where their son Charles Ira Winch had married and settled.
