Notes - Elizabeth was a very intelligent and resourceful women. She designed and helped build some of the very early travel trailers. She raised her family of four girls and one boy in a trailer made from a circus wagon. She also cared for grandchildren while the fathers were at war and mothers trying to earn a living during the late thirties and early forties. Liesel was her nickname and because of her and her writings in their daily log, these grandchildren after many years were able to find each other and discover their past. They had been separated by adoption and divorce at an early age. Fifty three years later they reunited on the very same property they shared as children. The daily log also contained bits of humor, expenses, troubles and stories of good times, and also bits of baby hair from each of the children except Emma.
