• Notes

  In 1942, Hilliard enlisted in the DePauw University Navy V-12 program and subsequently served in the Pacific. He received a law degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati where he also taught Business Law. He received an honorary PhD from Edgecliff College in Cincinnati. Hilliard lived in Terrace Park and Mariemont, Ohio while working for Western and Southern Life Insurance Company, Southern Ohio Bank, and in private practice.
