  Bob was an Air Force Veteran, and retired as a teacher for East Central High School after 37 years, also 7 years at Ivy Tech and taught summer courses for Purdue and IU. Bob coached drama, wrestling, freshman football. He was a member of the Ripley County Teachers Association, Indiana Retired Teachers Association, Versailles F & AM Lodge #7, Milan Police Department, Milan Town Board, Milan VFW Post 6234, Ripley County Amateur Radio Club.
