• Notes

  John graduated from Duke University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and served in the U.S. Navy. He earned his Master's of Science Degree at RIT. He worked Naval Surface Weapons Laboratory in 1960, and was elected Who's Who in Engineering. He worked at NASA as Director of Engineering at Goddard Spaceflight Center in the late 1970's, a position held until he retired in 1988 .
