  • Notes
    • The First Baptist Church in Taft was a big part of the familys' lives. Otho had a beautiful tenor voice. He sang in the church choir every Sunday, and he often sang solos and duets.

n 1971, his company transferred him to Hondo, in the Texas Hill Country, to be the new branch manager. He loved the Hill Country, and in 1973, he was named Branch Manager of the Year. He retired in 1984, and he and Frances moved to Gonzales, Texas, where they lived for 14 years. The First Baptist Church there was again a big part of his life.

In 1998, they moved back to the Gulf Coast.
