Notes - D. B. Scudder, ed., "Clemans Scudder, Daughter of Thomas Scudder and Mary Ludlam of Huntington, New York," Scudder Searches, v. 5, no. 2, (Summer 1993): 6–7. There is no primary source that suggests a marriage to ____? Clements although that has been a rumor. Clemans (Clemance) was not married in 1690 when her father made her will. At that time she was probably only about age 12. To have another marriage before 1695 would have been unlikely.
