  Larry lived most of his life in Jefferson County and was a 1951 graduate of Central High School. He served in the Army during the Korean War in the motor pool. He began a career in 1955 with the Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corp. in Madison and retired after 33 years of service as a maintenance supervisor. He had farmed all of his life and had worked for the Armstrong family at Armstrong's Super Service in downtown Madison. He was a member of Paynesville Christian Church.
