    • Anna graduated from Lockport Union school. She taught first at the Wilson Union school in 1886 for a year and then for 5 years at Lockport Union school. For 15 years she served with distinction as a member of the Board of Education. She also devoted 10 years on the Board of Trustees of the Lockport Public Library. She always took a sincere interest in all undertakings. She was a founder of the Mothers' Club and New Century Club. She was a member of the Saturday Club, the Monday Reading Club, Women's Church and Missionary Society (First Presbyterian Church) and the Secretary of the NY PTA (Mother's Congress of NY) from 1910-1912.
