• Notes

  Edmund's boyhood and youth were spent in and around Romulus. In 1880 he came to Aurora as station agent of the Lehigh Valley Railroad. In September 1891 he left this position to enter the employ of the First National Bank of Aurora. At the time of bis death he was cashier and in active charge of the bank's affairs. He was also assistant treasurer of Weils College.
