  Janet was a graduate of Hillside School in 1931. She attended Wellesley College. She was a member of Shore and Country Club for 69 years as well as a member of the Shorehaven Golf Club. Janet was an active on the Woman’s Board of Norwalk Hospital and a volunteer at Treasure House. She was a long time member of the First Congregational Church on the Green in Norwalk until she moved to Bridgeport.
