• Notes

  John was a graduate of Edwardsport High School in Edwardsport, Indiana. He entered Indiana University as an undergraduate and received his DDS from the Indiana University School of Dentristry in 1938. He was head of Veteran's Administration Dental Services from 1946 until his retirement. He was at VA Medical Center from 1957 to 1974 in Marion. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the Indiana National Guard and the U.S. Army from June 1941 to January 1946.He was a member of First Christian Church in Marion, American Dental Association, Rotary International and was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge. He also served one term on the Marion Civic Center Board.
