    • Vadis graduated from Shakopee High School, Macalester College and McCormick Seminary. She met her husband Charles Robshaw, a Presbyterian minister while doing mission work in Tennessee and supported him in his church ministry in New Jersey, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With Charles she represented the Presbyterian Church internationally and led tours to Ireland, Israel and Greece.
