    • Jacob was president of the Tuscarora Valley Railroad from 1910 to 1915. He later became president and director of the St. Joseph, South Bend & Southern Railroad, and director of the Buffalo & Suscquehanna Railroad. He was on the board of Marine Midland Bank.
