    • Carl started Carl Williams Realty in 1952. In 1960, he became President of Columbus Board Realtors. He became a member of Appraisal Institute in 1973. In 1976, he was the Columbus Board of Realtors' "Realtor of the Year". He remodeled a downtown gas station into current business site and offices in 1976. In 1984, he became President of Indiana Chapter 27 of the American Society of Appraisers. He received the lifetime achievement award from Columbus Board of Realtors in 2000. Carl was charter member of Indiana Chapter of American Society of Appraisers, a lifetime member of St John's #20 and a member of Exchange Club. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was former Deacon of North Christian Church. He loved flying especially when he was the pilot. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting mushrooms. He loved animals of all kinds.
