• Notes

  Minnie was only about 15 years old when she married and her hair hung in long thick curls down her back on her wedding day. She and Billie reared their family on a farm in the Low Gap Community, east of Brentwood, and lived there most of their lives, moving to West Fork to live during their latter years.
