    • Henry graduated from Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio, in 1848. He then studied for two years at Yale Seminary and completed his theological studies at Andover Seminary in 1851. He was ordained 16 June 1852. He was a pastor at Princeton, Massachusetts, from 1852-1855; Guilford, Connecticut, 1856-1858; Deep River, Connecticut, 1858-1869; of the Presbyterian Church at Brighton, New York, 1869-1874; and of the Presbyterian Church at Alden, New York, 1877-1880. Afterwards, he preached only occasionally.
