• Notes

  Ebenezer served in the Revolutionary War as the commander of the Veteran Guard, at Norwich, 1779. The Veteran Guard of Connecticut was the name of several various companies in the Revolutionary War. In 1776, the Veteran Guard joined with the 19th Regiment in New York.
