Notes - Carl was a retired canner and farmer who became associated with the Union State Bank in Windfall in 1915. At the time of his death he was chairman of the bank's board of directors. He was also associated with the canning industry as early as 1924 when he became involved with the Windfall Packing Company which is now known as Regal Foods.
Carl graduated from Windfall High School and Indiana State University. He taught school for a few years in Tipton county. He held memberships with the Windfall Masonic Lodge, the Windfall O.E.S., the Scottish Rite, and the Indiana Canners Association of which he was a past president. He was also a member of the Windfall Methodist Church.
