    • Scudder Searches, v. 1, no. 2, (Summer 1989): 11.
"Children and Grandchildren of Samuel (T-1-1)
T-1-1-2 Oldest son (name unknown), probably born ca. 169–74; probably died not long after marriage. [2 children.]
T-1-1-2-1 Mary, never married; died 1756, Newtown. In her will (dated 13 May 1756, probated 9 August 1756), she named her 'cousins' Samuel Scudder, Sarah, Scudder, Deborah Scudder (all children of Samuel II of Newtown), and Sarah Smith "of terseys," (apparently the daughter of Richard T-1-2-1 who would have removed with her parents to the Trenton area about 1709). Mary left the bulk of her estate to Sarah and Deborah, naming Samuel and Sarah as executors."
