  Henry went to California in 1854; later settled in Idaho and Nevada. He served as judge in Alturas county, Idaho. He was a prominent man in the legislature of Idaho. His wife, Rose, as his widow, applied for a pension for his services during the Indian Wars when he served with Colonel Crook's Regiment in 1857.
